Dating Safety Measures
Dating safety, especially for girls, is extremely an important consideration. No matter how old are you, just follow the dating safety measures.
Plan your meeting only when you feel right. When you date online, you do not ever have to date offline if you really do not want to. Never feel pressured to meet in person, but do so only when you feel the right time for it. Trust your instincts. A safe place is always right, so always agree to meet in a public location at a time when the public will be present. It is not safe to be alone with your date in starting.
It is better to arrange your own transportation. You can drive yourself to and from the location of the first date, and if don’t, just ask a friend to drive you, take a cab or take public transportation. If during the course of the date, the two of you agree to change locations, take your car to the new location, or you should stay where you are.
You must tell someone where you are, this is for your protection. You can tell this to any of your close friend, coworker, parent, neighbor. Don’t forget to tell the approximate time you expect to return home. This will help if things go bad, and someone will know to contact the authorities and what to tell them.
Avoid alcohol or limit it. Drinking excessively or doing other types of drugs is not good on the first date because these types of activities can impair your judgment. You’ll have plenty of other opportunities to indulge so just wait until another time. Besides you wouldn’t want to make the wrong impression. You should make your own travel plans, make your own arrangements for travel and/or a hotel room, and make these types of arrangements on your own.
